can anyone tell me what is the difference between in resolved query and open query?

resolved query means a query which is not available for discussion now and the same shall stand deleted from the post section whereas open query means wherein discussion/posting is still open for all.

[i thing]resolved quey mean the author closed that query.. its mean no need further comments or discussion with that query.. open query mean,, still we may discuss about that query.

I beg to differ on one aspect. Resolved query does not give any licence to close an issue. Healthy share of knowledge for the benefit of the querists is always welcome add values to the opinion of experts
