Transfer of property

We are residents of Telangana (Hyderabad). My father self owned property is to be shared between me and my brothers.
A will is made by him and he is alive now.
After his demise, is probate and registration is necessary ? also explain the procedure to get the letter of administration(conveyance).

It is not necessary that a will should be registered. A probate is also not required as the property is situated in Telengana.

A letter of administration is required only in specified situations - the facts disclosed do not suggest such a requirement.
