Trademark registration

I have a musical rock band and want to get the name registered. Will it be better to get band registered as partnership firm and then apply for trademark registration or I should just get it registered on my name.

you can go with the Former. First, get the Registration of partnership firm, then you can apply for trademark registration as the rights of the band members as well as the liabilities can be ascertained beforehand, by way of partnership deed.

You can register the Trademark as individual also. you can submit application to the Registrar of Trademarks with necessary fees.
