Sir,
One of Tenant failed to pay Rent for 8 months in Kolkata West Bengal, and he his maintaining my Room. Can I evit him ?

Issue a legal notice to pay the rent for 8 months and if he does not respond, file an eviction suit in a court of law.

Not paying the monthly rental even in an oral rental agreement amounts to willful default, hence you can very well file an eviction suit to evict him.

Why did you continue him as your tenant when you did not get rent for 8 months, file an eviction petition if the tenant do not oblige legal notice.
