Tenant - Eviction

I own a single bedroom portion in Hyderabad city which I have given on lease for 11 months.The tenant has not been paying the agreed monthly rent regularly. I also urgently need the portion for my personal use. The tenant is playing truant and not cooperating. How can I get him evicted ?

There is nothing like immediate eviction. Due process of law has to be followed
Send a notice under Section 106 of the Transfer of Property Act stating that there has been a default in payment of rent and that on this account you are terminating his tenancy

Agree with expert Mr. Kunal Shah, send a legal notice for handing over peaceful vacant possession of demised premises and payment of rent due; followed by suit for eviction under the provisions of law through a local prudent lawyer.

Your issue comes under landowner & tenant relationship which falls under Tenancy Act. Serve legal notice and press for arrears n vacating room. On failure file suit in Small Causes Court under jurisdiction
