I want to know, what would be the stamp duty charges for power of attorney for signing document?
Is there any difference in charges for GPA and SPA?

For stamp duty you are advised to contact with your nearest Registration Office.

Only nominal charges say maximum Rs. 100/- is incurred in GPA either it may be special or general.

The stamp duty is Rs.100 for SPA or GPA.
The appointment of agent shall be without consideration.
If any consideration is there, then more stamp duty shall be levied.
The registration fee shall be Rs.50

generally for special POA its Rs 50 and for GPA its Rs. 100. but do check your state stamp schedule for finality.
