My father had rented a shop on basis of rent reciept 15yrs ago.now I want to vacate my shop from the tenant.My father had passed away & I am alone & unemployed.Is their any way to vacate my shop & my house is in poor condition, needs reconstruction badly.I want to construct it after the tenant is gone. Plz help me out. Thanks in advance

Issue a quit notice giving some time to the tenant to vacate. If he does not vacate, you need to file an eviction case in the jurisdictional civil court. Ensure before proceeding that you have inherited the property and the owner of it.

You can file the eviction petition in competent court on ground of bonafied necessity.

Yes. Agree with mr.shasi. Unless prove your needs on your propery mean you can't file a petition for eviction.. However you wil file a rent control petition for eviction. Your tenant wil file petition for deposit the rent amount before the court deposit.

There atleast you need any one thing from following. I mean your tenant must be broke your tenancy agreement otherwise the building to be need for your own purpose. The burden of proof is your's..
