Whether section 87 of ipc can act as am exception to section 494 of IPC

No. The general exception mentioned in S.87 "Act not intended and not known to be likely to cause death or grievous hurt, done by consent" is applicable to bodily injury/harm and S. 494 is bigamy, an offence relating to marriage. Both are different.
