Quick Summary
If your Right to Information (RTI) request, filed on 1st July 2021, has not yet received a response by 13th August 2021, despite a reply stating COVID-related delays, you have options. It is advised to send a reminder to the Public Information Officer (PIO), clearly stating that a first appeal will be filed with the higher authority via registered post if no information is provided within 10 days. Alternatively, you can directly submit an appeal to the PIO's First Appellate Authority.

Put a reminder to the PIO and you shall clearly say that, if no reply is received from the PIO within 10 days, you can file the first appeal to the next higher authority by Registered Post.
