Dear Mr. Sumir, According to Rule 3 of Bombay HC RTI Rules, 2006, prescribed fee is Rs. 12 which is to be affixed in the form of Court Fee on the application. If the applicant desires to get the information by post, he has to send a self-addressed envelope bearing the postage stamp equivalent to the rate prescribed for Registered Post Acknowledgement Due (R.P.A.D.) along with the application. So the uniform rate of Rs. 10/- is not applicable everywhere, even though the RTI Act has prescribed Rs. 10/- has the fee.
