I had requested some documents under RTI act but the govt has denied that third party details/documents cannot be supplied under RTI act. What is the remedy with me now...can govt. deny documents under RTI

Yes information can be denied if the information relates to third party.

You can take a chance and file first appeal.

The third party may be asked to part ways with the information, if the party may agree you can get it. Otherwise, you should have read Section 8 & 9 of the Right to Information Act, 2005 before submitting your application.
I agree with the expert advise of Mr. Rajendra K Goyal.
