I would like to know the rules/law regarding giving our property for a road to the adjacent property.

My neighbors are staying in a. Land locked property. They were using my land as a path. But now they want to make an official road and are ready to buy my part of the property. The thing is I don't have the documents of my property presently. It's with the bank as security for a loan. They also want to register the road on their name. So my question is without selling the part of my land (because I don't have the documents) I want to know normally how much I should give and if there's an alternative.

Unless you find out the boundaries of your property and fence it, the other party could get easementary right by filing petition in court.

Your neighbour has an easement right on public land, consult a local prudent lawyer with documents of your property.
However, why did you not object to usage of your land for passaging your neighbour right since day one?

Okay thank you for the information. I couldn't object the usage of my land for passing because theirs was a landlocked property and my ancestors gave permission to use the way because they had no other way to enter. here's an update. There are two property's adjacent together. (One's mine and the other is another persons). They were origanlly going to buy both and make a road, they even filled my part with mud to measure the area. But since they needed urgently and since I didn't have my property documents, they have decided to buy only the other person property (5m wide road). Now my question is, since they are buying the road from the other party should I (as per a law I don't remember the name) should I give 1m road from my side). And can we fence from my side?
