Revival of an inactive company!

Is it possible to revive a pvt. ltd. company which has been inactive since 1993 i.e the company has not filed its accounts or any other documents required to be filed since then?

Further, if one out of the 2 directors had expired in 1997, what would be its implications on the revival of the company, if it is possible at all?

Further the status of the company is being shown as "Approved" on the MCAs website.

And since, the late filing fee would be the 9 times of the original fee, will there be any additional fee if the authorised capital is Rs. 10 lakhs?

It shall be better to avail the specialized services of a CA for such purpose.

True, specialized services of a CA is needed and I am in the process of finding it. But since this work is of higher magnitude, I wanted to double check everything.
