Sir, Our case is in high court for final hearing. We want to file a review petition for the order which was given by district court on which basis the case is currently in high court? Can we file a review petition for the case which is already running in high court?

Section 114 of Code of Civil Procedure deals matter of review.

Such a review can be filed before same court only when appeal lies but the same has not been filed when no appeal is allowed by the code and it has to be filed within prescribed limitation period.

Since in your case appeal is allowed by the code and the same has already been filed before High Court,you can not now file review before District Court.
