it has been decided by the Central Government that if there is a delay in submission of renewal application by a Notary Public, he/she shall have to submit an affidavit. attested by Judicial Magistrate of First Class stating therein the reason for delay in submission of application

The State Government issues certain instructions for the renewal of a Notary license. The application with license fees shall be submitted at least 3 months before in AP. The license fees shall be paid on or before the expiry of the license period, the application may be submitted with the fee receipt with a delay. In AP State it can be condoned up to one month at present instructions. Hence you may obtain information from the authorities of your state.
