My father gave me some property through a registered will. Can someone else (brother's widow or his children)challenge that will, if yes, on what grounds can it be challenged.

A person can will away the property in which his sole right exists or going to exist. In your case whether the property is self acquired property of your father or not is the question. so clarify . whether you father is alive or not?
R.Ramachandran (Expert) 01 January 2011
Anybody can challenge the WILL on the ground of fraud, coercion, undue influence, pressure, force etc. etc. However, such challenge has to be defended.
Advocate Bhartesh goyal (Expert) 01 January 2011
I agree with Mr.R.Ramchandran.

your father can write a will only as to his self acquired properties.

However, least possibility to challenge a Registered Will

As pointed out by Ramachandran, Will can be challenege for lacked of testamentary capacity or that the person was unduly influenced or persuaded to write the will a certain way.

If its genuine will mean no need to worry about it.. If any one challenge it mean just you face it before court of law
Advocate. Arunagiri (Expert) 02 January 2011
It can be challenged on the following grounds:-

1. if it is a ancestor property.

2. if the Will is obtained by fraud.
