Regarding passport

Hi All-

There is one case on my name under section U/s. 292 of IPC and its running in local court here. My passport is about to expire. can i apply for passport renewal with out any worries ? or will this case become a hurdle ?

if this case becomes a obstacle, how should i get over from this. Please help me with the best and appropriate suggestions

mentioned the case no. and other details in the passport form as pending case so it will be convenient for you in future.

You are not convicted but only an accused, hence it will not be a hurdle for your passport, however as suggested by Gupta you need to disclose the material facts in your application.

While renewing you have to disclose the details of the pending case. Just because of the pending case, the passport will not be denied.
