Regarding adjourment of case in daily cause list

Dear Expert Members,

I am law graduate and in person contesting my case of service matter but due to certain unavoidable circumstances(CRITICAL ILLNESS)of my parent I will not in position to contest my case which will ready for final disposal in the Hon'ble Tribunal
I want to seek the adjourment of my case for next hearing
Please inform in what way I can seek the adjournment
Whether I have to file the M.A ?
or written communication to the Respondents/Pleader for adjournment?

Or intimation to the Registrar for adjournment

Please inform as I will not be in postion to send any representative on that date

It is not cumbersome procedure as suggested by my ld. friends. You prepae an M.A. seeking adjournment on the grounds you stated above and serve one copy on the opposite council and obtain his signature with a note "no-objection" on the original application for the consideration of registrar and the registrar has got the power to adjourn the matter to the further date suitable to both the parties. Other-wise, the matter will be placed before the court on the date alredy fixed earlier, along with your application and you may send any of your friends to appear before the court to note down the next date of hearing. As the matter is final (argument) stage, court will not proceed further without hearing you.
