I have filed a divorce case against my wife on the basis of cruelty and desertion.
I filed a case in 2012 August. It is almost 8 months.My wife is yet to file counter.
can my wife file any case against me ? If yes what are the cases she can file and what precaution should I take to safeguard me. My wife is working and we have a kid and kid is with her.
Why this divorce process is taking this much time ?. How long will it take for me to get divorce ?
She already tortured me using law and other supports.
By that time i get divorce i will be tortured more. How can i start a new a life?. my life is gone . i don't have words to express my sufferings.
My marriage destroyed me and my life.

1) ifyour wife is contesting divorce it will take years
2) if your wife is not appearing in court inspite of notice apply for exparte divorce .
3) your wife can file DV / 498A cases against you . 498 A in case of dowry harrasment and DV for right to stay in shared household and for other reliefs
4) best option divorce by mutual consent
