Refund money

Dear Sir,
In the month of Feb 2015 I had given GDPI for PGDM (MBA) in Asia Pacific, Delhi and deposited 60,000/- for reserve seat. In the month of June 1st week, I sent a mail to college and said that I cannot continue my study due to financial problem, Please fund my deposited money.

After follow-up college says that we will start refund process in the month of Sept.

(Note: -College is AICTE approved and will start session from 3rd July).

Sir, Please let us know what should I do in this situation. should we wait or take any other action? Please advise.

You may wait for some more time. If not fruitful, you can approach AICTE and/or the consumer court.

Send weekly notice / reminder through registered post for refund. Send letter to AICTE and state Government. If no result file consumer complaint.

Well advised by the experts. Send a notice through local laywer and thereafter file a complaint before the District Consumer Forum for refund of Rs.60,000/- alongwith compensationf or harassment and legal proceedings expenses.
