one advocate Mr. R. Venkataraman, Advocate Supreme Court of India R/o 305 Media apartments, Indirapuram, AK IV, GHhaziabad Tel 9910090030 was chargesheeted and added as fresh accused in a CBI case. 1. Whether the CBI should inform the Bar Council of India for necessary steps and action. 2. Whether any law exists or there is any provision in law that if any professional violate the code of conduct and ethics and chargesheeted by cbni the investigating agwency has to informk the concerned authorities in this case the Bar Council of India if so which section pl state since the cbi did not inform the bar council of india about naming him as an accused in the cbi case

If he is only an accused, Bar Council would not come into picture. If convicted, then yes, the Bar Council will have to be notified and his name would be removed from the Register after affording him a chance to show cause. No action at the stage when he is only an Accused and not a Convict.

If the case relates to professional misconduct, then one can surely bring it to the notice of the Bar Council concerned where he is registered so that the Bar Council will take appropriate independent proceedings.
