Purchase of auction property

I am intrested to take a part in auction of bank acquired property. Please let me know any additional legal process is their for purchase of such property.So, before auction or purchase I have to take care.

read the terms and conditions of auction . take inspection of property . check the title deeds . engage a lawyer
