Purchase of a flat in a co-operative housing society by an existing member/associate member

Kind attn. of Experts:


I am an associate member of a cooperative housing society in Kolkata with the original member being my mother.

Can I purchase another flat in the same housing society either in my name or in my wife's name. Are there any prerequisites for the same.

It depends upon the bye laws of your co-operative society.
