Is there any Act relating to Public Trust in Pondicherry ? What is the applicable law ?

You need to know several enactments in this regard,such as INDIAN TRUST ACT,THE RELIGIOUS ENDOWMENT ACT ,charitable and religious trust act,AND also,several relevant provisions of TPA,REGISTRATION,and income tax as well as cbdt circulars in this regard.

Mr. Prabhakar Singh is right. So many laws are required to be seen in relation to Trust Activities. Basically a good scheme has to be drafted for smooth functioning of the trust.

I do not know if there is a seperate Act to govern public trusts in Pondicherry. Many of the Tamilnadu Acts are extended to Pondicherry. Hence u will have to check up the position locally. If there is no such seperate Act, then Indian Trust Act will apply.
