Dear Lawyers

I have planned to purchase a property in Chennai,

A legal case is going on Property surrounded our property.

But our seller is saying that, this property doesn't have any problem.

So what is the procedure to find out our property is out of legal cases and whether future problem may arise from near by Property.

How do you know that some case is going on against the property?
Why do you involve/intend to buy the property which is under litigation, if you know ?
If you are sure of case on the property, get a copy and show it to a local lawyer for proper analyzing, advise and guidance.

Consult local lawyer and get the search report and non encumbrance certificate.
