What is the procedure to divide the land.
we have 100 sqyards now i want divide the plot into two among brothers.

your query is not clear, about legal heirs, but you should follow the Legal heir -I as per succession act.

Simple!if both agree divide it even orally and act on division,then write memorandum.Partition by registered instrument can also be planned.In case of dis agreement suit of partition would be required.
