expert
pls let me know the procdure to file domestic voilence case step by step in Metropolitan magistrate court

how many steps in D.V case
from the date of filing

It can be filed u/s 12 of PWDVA, 2005 supported by affidavit under 23(2).

The case would be listed on next day when the DIR would be called.

you can filed an application u/s 12 read with section 17,18,19,20,21 if any child custody, 22 and section 23.
after registration of the complaint the court issue summons to respondent u/s 13 and the case will be start.

After filing of the application, generally trial courts send the case file to Protection officer for his detailed report. PO then calls or conducts its own enquiry and submits its report toe the court within a short period.

The respondent is summoned, the reply if any, is to be filed by respondent, evidence by way of affidavit supported with relevant documents is taken from both sides, argument is heard and the case is decided accordingly.
