Probate of will

Respected Experts,

Kindly confirm whether the probate of will is mandatory is every state where the deceased person property there from the respective court.

or,

If it is fine if will is probated from the court where the deceased last reside(i.e In Karnataka) and made the will.

Probate can be applied for from the place where he died or where any part of the property situates.

Property is in all metro cities and hence if we obtained the probate of will from where person died and such probated will is equally valid for other cities.Kindly support your views.
