Respected Legal Advisers,
I am aged and not well. Recently I had surgery. At present, I am in Coimbatore. I have to sell some lands located in my native village under Tirumayam Sub Registrar Office Jurisdiction (Tamilnadu). Can I prepare a Power of Attorney in my wife’s name and register it in Coimbatore Registrar Office? My wife is also in Coimbatore.

You can very well execute a General power of attorney deed in favor of your wife at Coimbatore registrar's office itself in your wife's favor and can get the property transferred in favor of the prospective buyer through your power agent.
