specific power for transfer of interest how long valid.... and how long the general power is valid

Both General/Specific power of attorney is valid till the revocation or death of the maker.

If it for specific purpose up to specified date, it becomes null on completion of such purpose and on such date.But it should be specifically mentioned in the power of attorney.
