Poor service rendered by gee pee mobile service centre at malda (wb)

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 13 September 2011 This query is : Resolved 
I HAVE GIVEN A GEE PEE MODEL 2144 MOBILE HANDSET TO GEE PEE SERVICE CENTRE ( SATYAM CARE) AT MALDA ON 01/08/2011. ALMOST ONE AND HALF MONTHS PASSED BUT THEY WERE UNABLE TO SERVICE MY HANDSET. WHENEVER I INQUIRE THEY TOLD ME THAT "WITHIN FEW DAYS YOUR SET WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU".
I WAS SO HARASSED BY THE SERVICE CENTRE THAT I HAD NO OTHER OPTION TO THREATEN THEM SAYING THAT "I WOULD LODGE A COMPLAINT AGAINST YOU IN CONSUMER COURT", THOUGH THEY DID NOT CARE ABOUT AND STILL THEY DENY TO SERVICE MY HANDSET.

PLEASE SUGGEST THE WAY TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM.

SERVE A NOTICE UP ON THEM REGISTERED A/D AND THEREAFTER IF NO HEED PAID TO YOUR CAUSE FILE A COMPLAINT IN CONSUMER FORUM.

Yes Adv Singh sir is true..
immediately serve a "Legal Notice" to the said service center and wait 30-40 days and if still they don't take any positive action, just file a suit before the "Consumer Forum Court"

Serve a notice. If not rectified, file a complaint in the District Consumer Redressal Forum.
