Hi All,

My case is in CAW, Delhi.
My passport is about to expire and I need to get it renewed.
Q1. I dont want wife name to be displayed in passport. What to do?
Q2.What should I fill in the coloumn of Marital Status in Passport renewal form ?
If I put married then I have to write her name and if I say Single then its
giving wrong information.

Ans. Not possible, name can be deleted only in case of a divorce or death.

Q2.What should I fill in the coloumn of Marital Status in Passport renewal form ?

Ans. Married.

but my divorce proceedings already started.
and in my passport her name is not there.

Still as you are yet to get divorce, you have to correctly show your marital status.

You need not mention the name of your spouse in the relevant column.

As long as she is your wife you cannot do so unless you have the decree of divorce

No divorce granted - still wife - Passport entry cannot be removed.
