Open car parking space in colonies/societies

In the matter of M/s. Nahalchand Laloochand Pvt. Ltd. vs Panchali Co-op. Society Ltd.
the Hon'ble Supreme Court had stated that the builders/developers cannot sell open space in housing societies for car parking. (Civil Appeal No. 2544 of 2010).

Please guide me whether this judgement is applicable in such cases in Maharashtra State only or throughout India.

it is applicable in whole of India.
