Nomination of guardian - reg.

(Querist) 12 February 2022 This query is : Resolved
Respected Learned Experts, My friend who had no children has adopted a child from Immaculate Society and legally registered the adoption. Now the adopted son's age is 8. It was ascertained that the adopted son has no sound mind and seems to be insane. My friend want's to appoint a guardian for his adopted son after his life time. He feels that all his relatives are greedy of his property. So he wants to appoint the Immaculate Society itself as guardian for his properties and his son. Whether it is permissible? If so, what is the procedure? Thanks in anticipation.

I opine that there are top NGOs in India. So if your friend may search the website "ngofeed.com" and select which is capable NGO to appoint as guardian.

You have stated inter alia, that, ".....My friend want's to appoint a guardian for his adopted son after his life time....." why your friend is so pessimistic we pray for his long life and prosperity .

It is an admitted fact that life of every living being has to come to an end one or the other day but why at this stage ?

However, during the life time of adoptive parents of the minor no guardian can be appointed

Respected Learned Experts, One of the parent of the adopted son has already expired due to heart attack. The other parent is running now 56 years. Hence the query please. Dear Shri Sudhir Kumar sir, he has not approached the society. Whether the society be appointed as Guardian for the properties? Is it legally permissible? Expecting your esteemed opinion.

once a child has been adopted legally then relevant of age or death of natural parent is irrelevant.

please talk to society.
