I have sent the notice u/s 138 NI Act by registered post as well as by email (scanned copy of the registered post). Is the notice issued by email is admissible. From which date the countdown for cause of action will start: whether from date of receipt of registered post or from the date of receipt of email.

I think In Crpc there is no provision of notice through email, if concern high court permitts so, then whichever is earlier.

It is permissible to despatch notice by email and whatsapp.
Date of (first) receipt of notice (by either mode) shall be the day to count 15 days time.

You have 1st send by Registered post and probably have the receipt and even tracking report.

As per your post you have subsequently sent intimation by email attaching Redg. post receipt.
