498a still pending with Charge sheet. Parallely wife filed a DV case with section-12 (Asking for a compensation).
Kindly help me how to proceed further from my side?
*1) Can any one explain about what is legal mediation and how to avail it or file a petition for it in ANdhra Pradesh mobile family courts?
2) Coming to compensation/maintenance, I can prove that wife is having technical degree, working/worked in IT company and having very sufficient funds in bank.
3) what counter DV act cases can file on wife/inlaws to put a break for their speed of attacks?

You want mediators help to solve the case. Just you and your wife will have to file a memo in the case to refer the case to the mediation centre. When wife has got independent income she is not entittle for the maintenance. There is no counter cases to file on wife and in laws.

1) Can any one explain about what is legal mediation???????????? YOU HAVE NOT TOLD YOUR LOCATION,THERE ARE SEVERAL ONE WORKING UNDER COURTS WHERE DISPUTES ARE REFERRED ONLY WHEN PARTIES DESIRE SO.
DIFFERENT HIGH COURTS UNDER THERE RULE MAKING POWER HAVE FRAMED RULES AND PROCEDURE.
The concept of mediation is ancient and deep rooted in our country. In olden days disputes used to be resolved in a panchayat at the community level. Panches used to be called Panch Parmeshwar.
Mediation is a negotiation process in which a neutral third party assists the disputing parties in resolving their disputes. A Mediator uses special negotiation and communication techniques to help the parties to come to a settlement. The parties can appoint a Mediator with their mutual consent or a mediator can be appointed by the Court in a pending litigation. Mediation always leaves the decision making power with the parties. A Mediator does not decide what is fair or right, does not apportion blame, nor renders any opinion on the merits or chances of success if the case is litigated. Rather, a mediator acts as a catalyst to bring the two disputing parties together by defining issues and limiting obstacles to communication and settlement.

2)MAINTENANCE IS A SENSITIVE TERM AND IS AWARDED WHEN WIFE HAS NO MEANS TO LIVE THE LIFE AS PER STANDARD OF YOUR'S LIVING.
3)YOU NEED NO OTHER CASE TO FILE RATHER YOU NEED TO MEET THESE FILED BY HER.

I do not know about My wife and in-laws that they will come forward and sign a memo to refer the case to the mediation centre. I am 100 % not sure.
Its the initiative Iam thinking about. So can i proceed from myside alone without thinking of wife side for this mediation? If so HOW? Iam from HYDERABAD, AndhraPradesh State.
