Simple, just take an account statement of your loan a/c no. and also apply for'no dues certificate'. Your statement will show nil, that you deposit to the other bank and mean while get the 'no dues certificate' and you will get rid from defaulter .

Explain your case to HDFC and convince them.
Entries cant be deleted as it is true.
Failure of one/two EMIs is sometimes natural or beyond the capacity or control of the borrower.
But it is clear that you have re-paid all the amounts within the stipulated time.
Give all these points in your representation and get your loan application processed.

If you have paid EMIs properly in your previous loan account except two/three and could close the account well in stipulated time, as Mr.Prashant advised, take a copy of statement and explain to HDFC Bank who can scrutinize the facts and take a decision. CBIL is only a guiding factor.
