Name change of minor son

(Querist) 31 March 2014 This query is : Resolved 
my x-husband has stopped the access of my minor son from last 4.5yrs.he's also stopped giving him the maintenance.i dont want to ask for the maintenance again.but if i want to change my son's name do i have to seek noc from my x-husband,who is not even in touch with my son!!i have the permanent custody.

yourr husband is biological father of your son . you need his consent for change in your son name . if your husband has stopped paying maintenance you can take execution proceedings to recover arrears of maintenance .
