My son's Community Certificate

Hi,

Mine is interreligion marriage, i wish to bring up by son in my custom. He is now 8 months old.

Can he has my (mother) religion as his religion, in his community certificate?

The child can adopt either of the parents community. But the religion has got relevance to the community and it should not stand in the way of getting the community certificate.For instance a hindu, parsi and sikh alone could get SC certificate.
