whether maps downloaded from internet like google maps be admissible in the court of law as evidence, for showing the boundary, area development, etc. whether there is any recent case laws relating to electronic media.

No. Such maps are not admissible in evidence as those are not authenticated.

The maps prepared by google etc., and posted in internet are only indicative and not perfect. They are not the authorised agents to prepare maps. Therefore, the document (map)downloaded from internet cannot be a piece of evidence. Survey conducted by the local government department can only be produced as evidence.

Dear Sir
I have confusion.
I think definition of evidence is very simple under s 3 of evidence act and if require no authentication.
Nor such evidence is inadmissible under any section of Evidence act.
