A man purchased a property with his self earned money in the name of his wife who is a house wife and is illiterate. After the death of the wife, who will be the legal heir?

Even though the husband funded for the purchase of the property, since the property was bought on the name of wife, upon her intestate death, the property shall devolve on all her legal heirs.

What if the daughters are married and in the treatment of wife, husband had invested a lot and got in debt?

The wife's assets and liabilities to the extent of her assets left behind shall be liable on the legal heirs of the deceased wife to that extent of the assets inherited by them.
