Land grabbing

(Querist) 05 March 2024 This query is : Resolved
Sir
I would like to clarify some doubt regarding Land Dispute
I have bought some land in 2023 to the extent of 2Acre 25 Cents But part of the land to the extent of 15 cents in Joint Patta Hence I have decided to sub divide the same and make the payment for that . While Surveying the Land, some Labours who are working in the nearest land claiming as 15 cents belongs to them since they were enjoying for the past 10 years. Even though they don't have any document they are claiming based on Enjoyment. Sale deed in my name and Joint Patta is available in the name of the seller (For 15 cent) who has sold to me .(Along with some others)
Surveyor also refused to do Sub Divide the same and asked me to go to court .
My argument is Land Grabbing is a criminal offence and it can be handled by Police without permission of court . Whether am I correct? How can I handle this case further ? My Advocate is also unaware about the exact legal points and hesitate to deal with Police ?
Further How can I claim Compensation from the opponent in connection with illegal enjoyment of my land ?
Regards

The labourers are saying that they are enjoying the land but they do not say that the land is their own. You complain this to the RDO/SDO of your division.

No Sir They are telling as land belongs to them based on Enjoyment .
Further Police also stopped the survey and asked me to get direction from Court .
Even I have document Police not ready to help me because of corruption & Opponent has some unscrupulous politicians to argue in favour of him

You shall complain about it to the RDO/SDO and he will order for inquiry. After that, if you are aggrieved by the orders of the concerned officer you can approach a civil court.

The solution to this ultimately is with the civil court by a suit for ejectment.
Why did not ask your vendor to evict the illegal occupants from the property before purchasing the property.
The land grabbing special cell has been wound up by a order of high court, hence no complaint will be registered by police for land grabbing offence.
You say that they are into the land for over 10 years but you purchased it only a year ago, so now you have to undergo the arduous process to eject them from your property if this property was purchased by a legally valid document

Thanks for your reply .
Especially Kalaiselvan Sir You have given valid reply. Since it has been bought from my sister I did not ask her to do so. But finally he has been ejected on yesterday.
