Is govt holidays applicable to pvt firm

Hi,

as a HR, i just wanted to know dat is Govt holidays (26th Jan, 15th Aug, 2nd Oct, 1st May) are applicable for pvt firm or nt .

Asa HR personnel you would know the type of the establishment (Commercial/Industrial) the enactments that apply to the establishment and mandatory holidays that are applicable.

The answer lies in the enactments that apply.
