when interim stay order of high court is there without extension whether the trial court can pass further proceedings in ep
A High Court interim stay order halts trial court proceedings. However, once the stay order expires, either by its own terms or a general Supreme Court directive, the trial court is permitted to resume its proceedings. The ability for the trial court to continue depends entirely on the current status and duration of the stay order.

When the stay order is in force the trial court cannot proceed. But when the stay has come to a close by efflux of time or as per the general Supreme Court order, the trial court can proceed.
