i want to ask that where should we file the application for the security of witnesses of act 302??

Complain for about it to the local police and also to the higher police officials of the district .Send a copy of the complaint via registered post to the senior most police officer of the district .If they don not take any cognizance,then give complain to the magistrate u/s 156(3)cr.p.c.

It is better to obtain security from the same court wherein trial is going on. This court shall ensure security from police officials by its own way.

If you failed with seniors's advise like above, move a petition for police protection before your high court.. High court will direct the police respondents to give physical protection for the witness.
