Illegal usage of open area beside my house

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 10 January 2024 This query is : Resolved
Sir there is an open area beside my house of approximately 80 ft x 30 Ft. Some of the residents made this into a playground and playing all types of games (Foot ball, cricket etc). Many times hard balls have damaged our property. Actually, as per the approved plan, this is open area is a road. Many times, we objected, but they are not listening.

Housing society association is not doing anything because their children also play in this area.

What do you advise?

You can complain to the Municipal Authority.

After all, children are children. They are bound to make use of every open space to play. Commons are meant to add value to life. In my opinion, you are overburdening yourself with a trivial issue.

You cannot control the children who are playing in a open area, which do not belong to you nor to the housing society.
If somebody damaging your property, you can give a complaint to police against them personally.
