IDBI BANK?????

dear sir, is IDBI BANK nationalised or not? bcoz they recently, advertised the facilities free from atm charges,cheque book, dd's, and zero balance?

Any Bank is free to decide their service charges,

without any control, as such

IDBI is a scheduled commercial bank. It is not a nationalised bank

Any Bank can decide his policy, but bank can not go over site of RBI Guidelines.. they have to follow the guidelines of RBI and it's mandatory for all...

RBI has framed some guidelines, rules regarding banking.
Wherein the limits of transactions, fee, chrages, interest,etc also guided.
The bank can frame their procedures, policies within the said limits .

IDBI Bank is a government owned bank
