Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 08 January 2010 This query is : Resolved
hai,
one case is filed on 13/04/2005 with u/s 447,506 r/w 34 ipc. then immediatly he take bail.from that time he dont know about that case status. my question is how to know his case status now?

Such accused might have been declared PO and thus his name must be with the concerned police station for his arrest. The status can be known from there also.

Best way is to see the Daily Register of concerned court from the date of bail till to date and everything shall come to light.

Go to the court where you obtained bail and enquire in the office about the status of the case quoting your case number and year. Certainly, the staff or shirastedar would tell you the status. You may also look into the 'A' Dairy of the court on the date you obtained the bail. It would mention the next date of hearing and status. Trace it to the latest date you attended the court.

You can obtain the details of the case from the pending clerk in the concerned court. YOu have to say your case No. and date on which the bail is granted.

Consult your advocate. If the charge sheet is filed by the police, Court might have taken the cognzance and might have numbered it as CC. Verify the FIR register in the Court, you will find the case no. against the crime no. Then search Register No.4 where you will get the case details and its first date of hearing. Then with the help of the case no and first date of hearing, search A-Diary, you will get the stage of the case and other details. If the charge sheet is not filed, the the case file will be available in the record room.
