What is the religion and cast of the orphan children if he/she is not adopted till 18 year ?

The orphan children if being taken care by an orphanage, then the religion would be accorded by the concerned orphanage in the event of not knowing the parenthood of the orphans.

Yes, I opine that the maximum number of children in orphanages come there within a few days of birth. Even 1-day babies are left on the stairs of orphanages. These kids don't have any caste. But due to our education system, they need to have a caste (which is a poor thing). The caste is decided by the director body if the organization is big. But if it is run by one or two people or a family then the admitted child in that orphanage gets the caste of those mentors by default. It depends.

Let's assume An abandoned child missing from Jharkhand.He was rescued from Lucknow UP. The CWC got him placed in a child protection home.The family of the child could not be traced. The child was legally free for adoption and detail of him was uploaded on CARA online portal for adoption.Due to some reason the child could not be adopted and he has attained the age of 18 years..
