Handling case in bombay high court bench

(Querist) 21 September 2015 This query is : Resolved
Respected Lawyers,

I have a very weird query. My mother is party in a Partition Suit in Aurangabad High Court. The case is pending since long don't know why the dates keep stretching and adjournments happen again and again. Spoke to our lawyer he kept saying "we know the law not you" . Now whenever I go to meet him he demands big money saying its on final stage and you will get big money...

Is there any possibilities that I myself and who can speak and understand normal English ; present the facts in front of honorable court and move towards the justice/decision? or it has to be another lawyer only?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Regards,
Muzaffar

Hi
You can check the status of your case online www. ecourts.gov.in

lso you can ask your lawyer or your mother can ask for the case diary. the case diary will tell you what happened on each of the hearing.

If you are not satisfied, you may change your lawyer.

You can check status online.

You can always appear as a Party in Person after inoforming your lawyer that you do not need his services.
If you have not kept a copy of the case papers you can collect them from your lawyer after paying any pending fees.

Majority cases keep going as niether the Judges nor the Advocates take time to study the matter.
You should give a notice in writing to your Advocate and inform that you will handle the case yourself and if he is not c-opertaive you should complain to the Bar Council of Bombay High Court
